Why would you sell your netbook for a tablet? Sure, the tablet would be a bit more convenient to pull out, but I can do pretty much anything on my netbook. Damn thing can even run the Arcana Heart 3 rip [which seems to have ludicrously low system requirements, but hey]. It's light, it gets 6 hours active battery [and can be in sleep for ages], and I can do all my PC stuffs on it. And for media purposes, having an HDD in a netbook lets you hold lots more than on a tablet, and the netbook stands up on its own, rather than needing to be propped up.
I can see the appeal of a tablet as another device to have [it is really much more convenient to just pull out and use than a netbook, I need to sit to comfortably use the netbook, I can stand and use the tablet, the tablet goes from sleeping->ready much faster, it's a more convenient shape for reading with [although in that case, I'd get an e-ink device], etc], but I can't see myself completely going from a netbook to a tablet. Bit too much of a downgrade, really.
