I'm with you. The line is from Peep Show, which is about the driest, most sarcastic humor you can find... at least that I've watched anyway. A lot of the dialogue is actually self-reflection. The line in question was by Mark, the one whose ass is tighter than Tom Thumb's, after they had gone clubbing with his girlfriend's token gay friend.
