Which CAVE games would you buy if they were in PAL version?

Hi all!

A tiny poll regarding these 5 games that aren't (yet?) in our area unfortunately, also including all in 1 the Japanese region free games available (adding their own extras: black label, arrange, etc.).

The poll has multiple options, feel free to not limit yourselves to one only.

In addition, what would be your price limit for purchasing them?

Dodonpachi Daioujou Extra (including the Ketsuipachi mode)

DOJBLEX doesn't have Ketsuipachi. You're thinking of the Daifukkatsu Black Label Arrange.

Ketsuipachi (as dlc or something), Ketsui, Mushihimesama, Deathsmiles 2X and maybe sdoj. I say maybe because I was never a big fan of doj in the first place. It's a shame we never got deathsmiles 2X considering the minimal effort afaik to release it outside of america.

I'd purchase them all given time except for Deathsmiles II which I would probably give a miss unless I had the money on me and I happened to see it really really cheap in front of me.

BTW, I'm sure this was answered before, but what's the difficulty of releasing PAL/region free titles? Is there an extra cost involved? One that I can think of is localization but surely it can't be that bad?

Plus I'm in favour of them releasing all their shmups on XBLA or as games on demand.

Are there any mockup cover artworks for non-existent overseas versions? Not Mega Man-creepy (it wasn't generic at all), but I'd like to see more uplifting stuff: Mobile Light Force (come on, it wasn't the wrong kind of bad), Phalanx or what hzt did.

On topic, I wonder why PSX and PS2 ports are out of question here, but what do I know?

I would probably get ketsui, sdoj, doj, and mushihimesama. (in this order)

On the pricetag: 40 euros would be just fine. (willing to pay up to 50 euros)

If any of these PAL releases will have stackable achievements, I'll gladly pay for them again.

Also please show love for the Pork Sweets~ tasty candy meat that juice out extends if you know how (x64 multiplier ftw)

I'd get, in order of Want: Saidaioujou, Deathsmiles IIX, Mushihimesama 1.5, Ketsuipachi. Already own all the region free ones.

Basically, they release a shmup in my region, I buy it. So... all of the above.
I've done this for anything they have released over here recently (DS, Katana, Resurrection), and I aint been disappointed. (For little more than 20 notes, I can't complain; maybe if I'd paid 50 I'd be more critical of them. /shrug)

I draw the line at buying an entire new console to play these games. The money isn't the issue, it's the pissing about swapping consoles around, etc. Hell, it's getting to the point where I can't even be arsed to swap fucking discs - I'll just play whatever the hell it is I left in there the last time I used it.

Also: Ibara.

Also also: I would possibly have already grabbed a pink sweets/muchi, if a) there was someplace else to get one other than ebay hoardercunts (seriously, fuck them all), and b) it wasn't for the fact I could pretty much guarantee that a PAL localisation would be announced THE VERY DAMN DAY AFTER I DID.

I would not buy any PAL games, as I'd rather not invest in a PAL console. I would however buy region free XBLA releases of Do-Donpachi, E.S.P. Ra.De. Ibara (Incl. Kuro) and hell, even Dangun Feveron if I could.

<3 All of them would be great. At least there was a hint on Dangun Feveron on DDP Maximum, so hopefully Cave can release the game on XBLA so everyone can play (and not limit it to phones only)

I'd also like to see ESPgaluda (with the PS2 Arrange mode included and other fun modes) and Progear no Arashi on either a disc or XBLA too.

It's a small and niche one, but it's important to support and cherish what we love. If possible, to reach to many fans, don't limit releases to only one or two regions. Release them on as many regions as possible. Or at least try to make the games region-free, since importing isn't a hard thing to do.
