Was this the non jamma ebay one with the very nice BIN price, about 2 days ago? If so, you beat me to it by about 5 mins.
If it's the one with the graphics error mentioned, yes. It's actually a Makaimura. One of the ROMs didn't verify so I reburned it, I see the glitch he was talking about, but it's the exact same thing my other non-Romstar set does. I suspect they all do it, see thread in hardware section.

This hardware seems to break a lot. A guy at a Swedish forum has bought this game about 5 times and still haven't managed to salvage 1 working game from the parts.

Well, there's a tiny amount of hope - garbage usually means the CPU is crashing. That's usually some issue between the code ROMs and the CPU/RAM. I've got a working Jackal to compare it to, too :) At least, it worked last time I tested it, years ago....

I went to repair it and realised I was looking at a 1943. Far less interesting, but it's repaired now. That's 5/6 fixed, the 6th is a basket case.

Finally got my hands on Cybattler. And if it took me a long time to find one, it feels like it took even longer for it to arrive. No fault of the seller, but DHL somehow managed to transport the package into the wrong direction by first shipping it to Ireland, and from there to England, on to Switzerland, until they finally turned their maps right side up and figured out where Finland actually is. But the board eventually did find its way, so the story has a happy ending.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

First things first :D .
A long time ago I got a SegaSonic the Hedgehog PCB - and this thing has a suicide battery like this  :

Image

Thanks to Rossyra (arcadeotaku) and his ROM burning skills the PCB is finally suicide free :D :

Yesterday I went for a "little" trip 8) :

I brought this home :D :

The PCB's are (PCB first, then title screen):

I can't believe you stacked nearly $3k worth of PCBs in a laundry hamper.

So the story is quite simple basically :) .
The seller posted a list (without prices) about 2 weeks ago of the PCB's he had (has) on a German forum. He has around 150 PCB's. And there were so much PCB's on that list that I was after for YEARS. I wrote the seller if he knows how much he wanted for the PCB's. A few days later he uploaded a PDF list (with prices). Some games were too low, some were spot on & some were too high (e.g. his MVS carts). Based on that prices I knew I had to drive to his place :). I asked about his phone nr. - he sent it to me & we talked about 1-2 hours mainly about our gaming histories & of course about his PCB's 8). We made an appointment (Saturday, December 1st, 11 'o clock in the morning = I woke up at 6 :? and drove 4 hours to his home ). And the outcome of this trip you can see in this thread 8) .

PS: I told him he should register here & on Arcadeotaku :D
PPS: The laundry hamper was basically just for bringing my equipment (MAK, Stick, Arcade AC, Amiga Screen) to him (of course the screen was not in there :) ). But I brought the PCB's (- Dimahoo) home in this thing. Of course I don't store my PCB's in a laundry hamper :D .

Stacking, and especially transporting PCBs while stacked, is a very bad practice. Just something to keep in mind.

I would hate for the DIP pins on the solder side of one board to damage the parts side of one of your $400 PCBs.

Not trying to swat your hand with a wooden spoon, just trying to save you some future heartache :). These things are not Super Nintendo cartridges.
