Sony do a nice NEX range of cameras. Very small, but very powerful.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Almost 3k $

But judging from the specs, That's some real good equipment :P

I'm much happy with the pictures from my Nikon 1 J1. So a new camera is not really what I need.

I already had the lens.
a99 is a great camera, i am still trying to learn how to use it, there is an massive amount of options in the menu... mostly because of the movie function i guess.
Also it has EVF wich a bit hard to get used to as my old camera did not have that.

Is this EVF short for "electronic viewfinder"? On my old-school Canon S50 digital camera, there's a manual viewfinder in-addition to the LCD viewfinder screen setup (which nice to have for framing them shots).

I'll ping my buddy and see if he can send me a hi-res image. I'm in the process of trying to get him to do a poster based on the cover of R-Type on the MSX/68000k.

Soul of Chogokin Space Battleship Yamato. Very cool toy.... has a remoted and the ship can play three songs from the show, bridge alarms sounds along with the bridge windows lighting up, wave cannon lights up and sounds to go with it, along with the rear thrusters lighting up, and gun firing noises etc.

It's has nifty other bells and wistles on the body. The LED lights are really cool; they fade in and out plus change color... not just on and off but a cool fade effect. Plus all of this is done via remote. Really nice toy.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Just got visited by the Internet Fairy. On Friday, I got a notice in the mail that they would soon be installing 100-megabit Internet in our building for only $60 a month (which is less than my existing cable Internet,) with potential for up to a gigabit, and already managed to get it installed today. It took about three seconds to decide to ditch Comcast... Just downloaded Left 4 Dead off Steam (about 6GB) in less than 10 minutes.

Thats correct... and it is not easy to get used to after using OVF (optical viewfinder) for many years.

Used locally for 230.00, but there is a story behind it. I bought this twice, it's back where it belongs is the end of the story.

I have seen them from 260 to 300.00 new. Here is a better pic.

Also got this last week

Seems like a lot to me. I pay 35€ for 50mbit, and that includes free land line calls.

Internet in the US is slower and more expensive than just about any other civilized nation in the world. Vexorg is getting an awesome deal by US standards.

Yes, this is replacing Comcast service that's advertised as being good for up to 50 megabits (but in practice I don't think I've seen more than 35 Mbit down and 7-8Mbit up) and costs about $5-6 per month than I'm paying for this. I think Comcast offers service that is supposed to go up to 105 megabits, but at a cost of $120 a month. Either way, anything that results in less having to deal with Comcast (which is a near-monopoly on any sort of halfway decent Internet connection in this area, I think CenturyLink DSL tops out at around 12 megabits around here) is a good thing.

Oh yeah, and the new one has no bandwidth caps either (although I haven't ever really had an issue with that anyway.)

I get 100 down and 10 up for about $70. That said, even if comcast came out with something better I would never switch to them.

Vexorg that's pretty awesome.. make sure you hide any torrenting so you don't get throttled.
