Hey there!
I'm looking into getting supergun to play on my tv & projector. I've seen a few rotatable mounts for HDTV's, but I don't really see myself being able to rotate my projector....
I know that a projector isn't going to be the best shmup experience, but I'm definitely going to want to play it every now and then. Anyone here used a video processor with an image rotation feature? For the short term, I'm looking at the DVDO iScan Duo. I'd love a Lumgen at some point, but the damn thing is just so expensive.
Thanks!

Re: Software Image Rotation
4 possibilities:
- built a rotatable stand for your projector (isnt's too hard, just two wood panels with 90° angle and the projector mounted to one of them).
- Silicon Optix Image Anyplace (standalone processor with rotation)
- PC with Immersive Holo3DGraph
- PC with Micomsoft/Startech Capture card.
iScan Duo and Radiance can't rotate. Also the Duo has massive problems with processing low-res videogame signals and the Radiance lacks quality for processing vintage systems.

Re: Software Image Rotation
Hello Fudoh,
Thanks for the information on the iScan Duo. Is this the "ringing" effect I've read about on other forums? In order to account for the shortcomings of the Duo (and the Radience...my future baby), do you think a xrgb-mini would be a wise investment for the legacy/vintage systems?
Though overkill.... The xrgb would do the signal processing, and the 2nd processor would pass the signal through for cabling convenience. That sound reasonable?
How much does the Anyplace run? A quick google search turned up email addresses for sales, and that doesn't bode well for inexpensive.
Once again, thank you for the input.

VP50Pro, Edge and Duo have the ringing, but the Duo (in most processing modes) can't display 240 at all. Thanks for the information on the iScan Duo. Is this the "ringing" effect I've read about on other forums?

but it adds extra lag.Though overkill.... The xrgb would do the signal processing, and the 2nd processor would pass the signal through for cabling convenience. That sound reasonable?
$250-300 on ebay. How much does the Anyplace run?
Re: Software Image Rotation
Done a just a little bit of searching for TV mounts; will probably run by Fry's or BestBuy when I'm home next week. But TV mounts with significant rotational functionality aren't that cheap...

Anyone have experience with these types of mounts?
