it started to show some results by playing it 1 play every day for 1 month,
...but now I still play every day for months... and I m still stuck front of the last boss last transform....

...but again I m not very far in the chart

Well, I'd say all my practice has paid off. After one attempt with Ageha I scored 51 million points, beat the game with 1 life remaining, no barrier or gold left (well maybe 50 or so), and I died all over the place. Makes my old high of 52 million seem pretty pathetic now since I had 5 lives left, half my barrier and a couple hundred gold on that run and my stage scores were practically maxed out

How many lives did you finish with on that run?

I've been using Tateha for a few days but have been getting frustrated, especially in level 5. So I've switched back to Ageha for the time being.

I had 2 left on that run, no gold again and a full barrier. Died on the third boss, not milking him, but on the final pattern. I think the rest of my deaths were on the final boss.

My stage scores were 3.8, 7.7 13.7, 7.5, 6.5, 8.0 (without the bonus), while my best are 4.2, 8.2, 13.7, 9.8, 7.1 and 9.0, so there's still lots of points I missed. Got my best stage 3 on that run, and it was still pretty sloppy, hell, I died even.

A small improvement. 3 very stupid deaths, and then I go and no miss the whole last boss without any barrier in stock and snag all the gold I can get. Lost a lot of points on stage 3 as well, with just 12.6 million, a sad 5.5 million on stage 5-1.

I'm slowly making my way up there.

Still lost a lot of points on this one, mainly stages 3, 4 and my 3 deaths. but I managed 4.3 million on stage 1 today as well.

Spent a week practising stage 1, can still only get 3mil. Its quite tricky kakuseing 3 bullet swarms at once in the latter half of the stage from the big narrow beelike ships, like the thing immediatly before the midstage boss. Even if I switch to kakusei before it starts firing I can manage 2 swarms at best.

I wonder if its time to move onto stage 2...

Been playing this again a bit lately, managed to improve a little...and with Tatty!

Though to be fair the first time I managed to "across the deadline" of 14 mil for the second extend was with Aggy.

For me this game is KING of making me die at stupid places, for some reason...it almost always seems that the better the run I'm having, the dumber my deaths will be. Other games do this to me too, of course, but Galuda seems to have a special knack for it...

Okie dokie, a bit of an old score (done in May '05), but I might come back to this if I can tear myself away from art and design study.

Icarus - 42,416,930 - Stage 5-2 - Tateha

As you can see, my top ranked score isn't made up of my best stage records -_-;; And this credit was a bit of a waste, IIRC, no-missed up to the end of stage 4, then lost three lives quickly. Finally lost the credit halfway down Jakou's final energy bar >_<#

I remember when I first played Espg, I tried out Ageha first, and almost shelved the game because I really hated the way he plays. Tateha for me, all the way.

Very impressive Icarus! If you could get a 1CC with that type of scoring you'd probably get close to or clear 50 million.
