Same. Never understood why this film caught so much flack, It was good for what it was.

That being said, Dredd 3D destroyed it!

Is that Transformer Lambor more articulated than the original G1 version of Sideswipe released (by Takara/Hasbro) back in 1984? A version of Sunstreaker & Red Alert would ace to compliment the Lambor release indeed.

The Transformers Universe variant of Red Alert that was released a few years back by Hasbro had a whopping 23 points of articulation and still resembled like it's Transformers cartoon likeness! It's quite amazing with what both Takara-Tomy & Hasbro can whip up with the Transformers nowdays (compared to the original Diaclone toys that Takara used to sell in Japan back in the early 1980s -- those were manufactured with a combination of both plastic & die-cast metal parts -- same thing could said about the G1 toys that Hasbro used to sell as well).

Is Takara-Tomy still making the JPN region Transformers Binaltech series (aka the Transformers Alternators in the U.S.)? That particular lineup was impressive for having 1/18th scaled appearances + left & right steering capability of the front wheels + the use of real rubber tires on all four wheels.

edit: All of my spare copies have been sold! Off to the UK for the lot of them!

Is it a book or a magazine with more issues to follow?
How many pages in this one?

Its a ~25 page magazine with hyper-glossy pages. Mixture of color and B&W photos. Makers homepage is here. From what I can find it's the first issue with possibly more to come, based on sales.

The Binaltech line is over but the have a new line called Alternity that is the succesor to that line. Not quite as nice though.

Yeah the Sideswipe master piece is totally posable... more so than the old toy. They do have a Red Alert variant on the way as well.

It's a stunning book. I love pretentious crap like that. Reminds me of bit a cool Hoyningen-Heune photobook I have in my book collection. It's also the kind of thing you'd love to see in a nice hardback coffee table format.

Gorgeous stuff! Nice one Mr. rancor san. :D

Aero Fighters 2.

Anywhoos, here're a few pics... (not of my hand, but of the mvs cart *g*)

And a big warm "hi" (or should I say "high"?) to moh! :-D

The game is ace, really digging it, spent just about 2 hours fiddling around with the different pilots. Right now, I'm prefering Hien...

Somehow I ended up buying a bunch of games in the last two weeks:

Image

That's Burnout: Dominator, Forza Horizon Limited Edition, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Ridge Racer Revolution, Rage Racer, Touge Max (a Cave series I like, who'd have thought), The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (found it really cheap) and just today I got in the mail Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel, the sequel to arguably the best Mega Man -clone out there. It was in development hell for quite a few years and then it suddenly come out without much fanfare, so I'm really happy to have it.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

One of my favourite "kids on the run" games (the other two being: Suikoden II and Capcom's own BoFV: Dragon Quarter).
P.S. Forgot about Ico.

Some other stuff that came during the week... diecast super poseable megazord, some blu-rays, Tomak Saves the Earth Again, Wreck It Ralph Soundtrack, and a SCART to BNC converter.

Image

This SCART to RGB BNC box has extra "stuff" in it to handle some other systems that have finicky syncs.

Dubbed (half-bad, half-good). Not too awful for Capcom, but it's not saying much. It's a dungeon crawler at heart, so you don't have to worry about voice acting too much (the shopkeepers are not voiced). The story happens to be remarkable; that's it.
P.S. I think the battlecries are Japanese, but it's been a while.

I NEED THAT WATCH

Two Bulovas I opened and started wearing recently:

I wanted to get the stainless steel one, but I cannot deal with link wrist bands. Even when they are adjusted to my wrist, they are uncomfortable as hell.
