Taito Vewlix PS3 to Xbox

Post by Gingerzilla »

Hi all,
I bought a super cool Taito Vewlix PS3 home arcade stick in cool blue with a metal finish off Amazon Japan. It cost me the world of course and now I have a question about it. It's fine for my Streetfighter needs on PS3 but for my Shmups I noticed that Xbox has all the Cave games I desire. What I want to know is if I can use my Taito Vewlix Ps3 on an Xbox? I know I can use it on a PC.

Cheers
Ginger

No simple way, unfortunately.

Best option is to change the PCB to something that supports both, like a Paewang Revolution or PS360+

PS360+ for this stick.

Paewang is peasant tier.

How hard is this to do oneself. I don't want to screw the insides by my bad soldering. If I can just snap in and replace it would be great (highly doubt that)
BTW
I went and got myself a Hori Streetfighter (XB) Arcade stick in the mean time :P (or as I like to call it my upstairs arcade).
Works like a dream albeit in need of a an 8 way.

The PS360+ does not require any soldering.
The PS360+ Controller Board is a single PCB solution that works with PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 without the need for padhacking or soldering. Simply attach to the screw terminals and plug in a usb cable and it is ready to go
