The question is often asked about HDTVs which support 240p. Usually the answer is "they are rare and you can't expect it", but one thing I've seldom seen: actual TV names.
Can anyone name a TV, or at least a brand, which does or doesn't support 240p signals as seen on an older system?

I expect you live in America if you're asking this. I've also had limited success with 240p over component. Via RGB SCART though, no problems at all.
Suppose you want RGB too, composite would be supported by pretty much any TV - or S-Video even.

Re: HDTVs which support 240p?
I have a Westinghouse 42" LCD HDTV set I bought like 4 years ago that handles damn near any signal I throw at it. It's done all my 240p stuff fine over composite, s-video, and component, and it can do 1080p on component as well (mostly only useful for 360, but it certainly doesn't seem to be a common thing on HD sets).

Yes, I am in America.
I have a 26 inch Philips 26PF5321D/37 which actually does support 240p except that vertical scrolling is sometimes jerky, so PS1 games and a Genesis with a SCART/YUV converter both work. But I'm in the market for a new TV for 1) 3D and 2) 1920x1080 resolution (this TV is 1366x768 resolution).
The TV also has a S-Video input, but I've despaired of finding a new TV with one.

Re: HDTVs which support 240p?
"Support" could mean "plays it as a regular non-HDTV would," or "technically supports 240p inputs, but with added delay due to internal upscaling to fit the actual tube resolution." Obviously you want to avoid any cases of the latter.
Re: HDTVs which support 240p?
My TV interprets 240P as 480i and then attempts to deinterlace the picture resulting in bobbing. I think this is what a lot of TVs do.

I have a Samsung PN51d550C1, which does 240p just fine.
