What's the best TV/Monitor to get for a Supergun?

I'm looking for a monitor to play my PCBs on. I heard many a good tale about the Sony PVMs.

Now some questions arose for me:

How many different versions of the Sony PVM exist?
And which one would be best for playing pcbs on it via a supergun?
And what cable type is the best solution for it? (RGB, S video etc.)

Yeah, I know, quite the noobish thread, and probably this questions popped up already a zillion times, but as I was to lazy to use the search function, please bear with me. (and my rather inebriated state of being atm. )

20" CRT and 40" Plasma. If you want a 27-29" CRT, the PVMs are nice. There aren't too many large PVMs, but many 20" ones. If you google can pick up a sony catalogue showing all models > http://www.pmotions.com/Public/PDFs/SONY/Displ_00.pdf

Throw another suggestion in the ring, the HANTAREX CT 28 EQ MONITOR. Have one and the image is lovely (even at a 28" display size).....think there suppose to be on par with the PVM's?

Is the SCART RGB plug easier to set up on the Hantarex than the Sony PVMs? I just had a look through your CT 28 EQ fun...interesting stuff, not for the amateur though!

Well is shouldnt be too much hassle just need to wire a scart plug up correctly for the pinout of the VGA socket on the Hantarex and then your good to go....only problem is your not able to use the speaker on the Hantarex....but then the speaker isnt that great anyway and mono too
