I have enough spare MSP on my old account to get an extra table or maybe two for Pinball FX2, but no more... any recommendations from you guys, if you had to get just one table? I haven't liked the initial four tables that much so far to be honest, but haven't really given it enough time yet, and I need some sort of new gaming distraction. Thanks (I'm thinking Mars, Excalibur maybe?)
(Then again I've only ever really played Pinball Fantasies and Illusions way back when I was young... and nothing else as far as pinball goes)

Mars is the most unforgiving table ATM, Excalibur is nearly as mean. If you want something forgiving, get yourself the first marvel pack with Spiderman and Wolverine in it, very fun tables.
Ghost Rider is easily my favorite table at the moment, but I think you can only buy it in a pack. And the three other tables that come with it ain't that good (Moon Rider, Thor, X-Men). I'll go with Kaiser and suggest you buy the first Marvel pack, all the tables included are good.
In other news, I was trying to 'beat' the V12 table on Zen Pinball 2 the other day. Managed to fully upgrade 2 parts (crankshaft and manifold), and now I'm #1 on the leaderboards (around 270 million points). That was totally unexpected.
V12 used to be one of the easiest tables back in ZP1, but now you can't catch the ball after shooting a ramp and you can't nudge as much, so it's much more difficult now. Funny how the top score back then used to be around 2 billions.
If he has enough points for two tables that's definitely not enough for a full pack. All the Marvel packs went on sale at one point or another last month for 400 points each, but that's over with now.
Sorcerer's Lair is possibly one of the most forgiving non-pack tables. You keep almost all your progress when you lose a ball, and you can unlock wizard mode even if you fail all the missions. The shots are very wide open and simple, as well.
The one I always wanted to get is Paranormal, but it's a very strange table that would probably be confusing for beginners. It was free last Halloween - doubt they'll do that again, though.
If in doubt, why not just download the table trials? You can even keep playing after the time limit runs out (until you lose a ball); you just can't see your score or any messages after that.
Yeah, luckily I'm not too invested in the 360 version of FX2 (the only table I own is the SFII table), so I may start buying for this one, since I can take it on my laptop with me and play when I want.

How do I add "friends" to the Windows 8 version of Pinball FX2?
It won't import any of my Xbox Live friends either, or am I missing a step here?
