Replacement volume control resistor Cave 1st Gen PCB

Post by jepjepjep »

Anyone know where I could find a replacement volume control variable resistor for a Cave 1st Gen PCB? I'd like to find an identical part if possible, but I'm not sure where to look. I couldn't find any info about the manufacturer or specs. The only letters printed on the side are 348d-10kB.

It looks like this:

The 10K is the rating, 10,000 ohms.

As for getting the exact part, those are a very common design but I've never found a source, you can easily find something with a slightly different top, or in a different colour.

Thanks system11. Is that what the -10kB stands for, 10 kOhm? Do you know what the typical power rating I should be looking for, 0.5 Watt maybe?

That would be fine, the last ones I fitted were 0.2w I think.
