HEY MOH! WHATS THAT ON YOUR WALL.

OH DEAR GOD...

That sign was printed out by a friend of mine who works at No Frills (grocery store here in canada).
The system refuses to print out a sign unless the product is registered in the system.
so the local no frills has a product named "POUNANNI" in the database.

...and that shits on sale. BLOWOUT!

Quick google search to do some of the shit. I'll take pictures later for some of the anime stuff I don't have up yet later tonight, or tomorrow. I moved, like...a year ago, and, er...my walls are still pretty much bare. I've got loads of Italian stuff sitting around. Some of the stuff I probably won't even be able to hang up for quite awhile. That Cat From Outer Space poster is a 4 sheet, which is fuckin' giant. I've got a few more Fabio Testi ones in boxes. Got some little shits hanging around the house as well, like a Barbarella, Buckara Banzai, Creature From the Black Lagoon, Danger Diabolik mini prints, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy III DoDonPachi DJJ that came with the games, and other random shit. And there is a Cotton PSX poster from GaijinPunch hanging above my bed. Slowlllllllllly trying to frame the majority of it, but yeah, that shits expensive. And I just bought a Project A-ko poster...ughhh.

Do you frame them or do you tack them on, or how do you hang all these on the wall :?:

I rent a place, so I can't really nail anything to the walls (although I have nailed a buncha shelves 'cause they will topple over me otherwise). I have tried using tape, but, since these are shitty plaster walls, nothing sticks!

Jesus Christ, Drauch!

Used to have more posters (Touch of Evil, Zardoz, Gojira 1954), now just paintings of old sailing ships, show posters from my years in providence, and this one from the nantucket whaling museum:

Image

Drauch: I wish there was a better Plague Dogs poster--so many great shots from that movie and the poster is really shit. Doesn't mean I'm not envious though.

Been looking to get a photo of my son up on my walls, as that's what normal people do. Right now I've got 3 pictures of he and I, cut out, and pasted on a cardboard rendition (done by him) of me... which looks an awful lot like some scribbling.

I have a poster of Chairman Mao somewhere around here. Moved recently and haven't put it back up though.

It's the only poster I have anymore. At some point I stopped wanting video game posters on my bedroom wall... maybe when I have a dedicated gaming room.

Fuck, I forgot about this one! I'm not sure where it's at; regardless, I don't have the hanging space right now. Definitely one of my favorites. It's a huge 2 sheet.
Image

Image
Cmoon, I've also got this one, which is probably the one I'll frame (eventually.) Some German one I found years ago. Not great, but still displays all the characters. The U.S. one I have is a horizontal (unlike the picture I googled) and it won't fit any frame whatsoever.

Image
Some anime shit I have framed, yet sitting on the floor. Behind those are a framed You're Under Arrest and SDF Macross posters. A Kimagure Orange Road and Galaxy Express 999 are sitting lonely in my closet with the myriad of other lost treasures.

Image
More anime shit above my computer.

Image
A huge Yamato towel I "converted" into a poster. To Xblox: this is what I used to use on posters at apartments and such. I used to use clips on the edges, which usually won't damage the poster. Then I'll tack the clips. A good way to hang stuff without having to pin or frame them. You've just gotta watch it since they're exposed. My cats owned my original Beastmaster poster and tore the Companeros one when they were kittens. The wind ripped a corner off a beautiful Case of the Bloody Iris poster I had in an apartment once. Nothing too bad, but enough to cause grief to a freak like me.

I should dig in my closet. I've probably got so much more crap abound.

I don't have a real camera, so forgive the terrible quality:

They look a little crooked, but it's just the angle I took the pics from. adverse also sent me a really nice Akai Katana poster (which I don't think I ever thanked him for ), but I still haven't put it up. Gotta get a frame for it.

Half my posters were destroyed through various moves or I just trashed them because I couldn't find anyone who'd want them. I still have some cheap0 repros I'd buy at Tower Records. I still have some Dali paintings, two or three from Taxi Driver, a coupla Marilyn Monroe, and also some really small posters that are framed. I took a Liquid Sky one to my cubicle at work: I trashed all the posted work notes, papers, and the calendar from one of my bulletins and just hanged this one:

Image

And this free poster I got at a concert:

Found more bullshit on my computer:

Image
This is an old picture I took of the aforementioned Bloody Iris poster before it took some damage. One of my favorites, but impossible to frame for now.

Image
Shitty old picture of me being a twat, displaying my infatuation with Fabio Testi. This is what a 4 sheet poster looks like if one has never seen them. Frickin' huge. I know a dude with a 10 sheet Lawnmower Man poster, mainly for hilarity sake. One can't even being to describe how big it is...

I think I've posted some of these before over in the "awesome stuff" thread, but since I end up at Disneyland on a fairly regular basis I've taken to collecting some of the character sketches they sell in the parks. Here's some of the ones I have:

Image
This is the first one I got (back in 2008 at Disney World on my only visit there) and probably my favorite of the ones I have.

Image
Peter Pan is one of my favorite of the older Disney movies, and I really liked this pose.

Image
I think the coloring on this one is particularly nice.

Image
A couple other miscellaneous items that I got recently, and haven't had a chance to hang yet. Cruella came from my most recent Disneyland trip in August, as did the Band Concert poster (limited edition of 135), which I still need to get framed at some point. The Don Rosa print came from his appearance at Emerald City ComicCon earlier this year, where I also got another one I haven't gotten a frame for yet.

Only one. I had to have a frame custom made since the poster is 12"x24".

my friend drew this on my wall in my lounge on a pretty wasted night.
he was kinda hyper active and i told him "hey if you want you can draw on the wall".
was like christmas to him :D
it´s actually very cryptic as the drawing is him his gf and me all kinda sealed by a key.

honestly I bad tripped on it the next few days smoking weed but now I love it(they were visiting me in berlin and when they left all I had was that painting and some weed).

Had this one for several years now, a couple of years ago it was treated with anti-acid fluid and mounted on ricepaper for preservation. Then I had a frame made to measure for it. Hard to get a photo without reflections now, you can see a figures hair reflecting in the bottom right.

I know right! Shee looks like Tommy Wiseau's lass in the alcohol party scene of The Room. Hachimaki ftw. Something about the character designs in that OAV has been troubling upon me. Oh well, excellent boobs, though.
Be prepared for somebody on here doing some brainwork to explain you why shouldn't you mind certain things that are odd about Gunbuster.
Not being condenscending here; I for one liked the original Battle Athletes TV show (on the other hand, the OAV got so badly drawn in the 2nd episode that I stopped watching).
Rest reassured, I will provide a pic when possible, it's just that the camera's betteries gave up just after I took it.
