My 1-ALL with A-Bomb in Resurrection was the only clear I've ever had that wasn't very memorable for me. I actually forgot I had that one until you mentioned it. But, any clear feels good at the end of the day.

I'm hoping this new DDP jam rules them all.

Are you talking about SaidaiOujou? I personally love what little I played of it (maybe 5-6 games) even though I know I'm not nearly good enough to 1CC it. Lots of dodging, and the only bullet erasing is when you activate a hyper or use a bomb.

I've played it at two locations in Osaka, at a Taito game center near the Nankai station in Namba, and DenDen town Taito game center that just recently opened up. That first game center is actually really good, they have Mushihime Matsuri, Mushime Futari BL (and 2 credits for one coin too!) and DS Mega Death Label units running. The one in DenDen town isn't bad either, they have a good variety with MuchiMuchi Pork, Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga and whole bunch of other games from the early 2000s.

Oh man finally! One of the most exciting credits of any game I've ever played. It was a close one... My first Futari 1.5 Maniac 1CC... so sweet!!!

FINALLY. I'm a fairly experienced shmup player but I finally caught the elusive 1cc for Ketsui. I am absolute garbage at this game: or so I thought. I decided to say "Fuck scoring" since I game-over on Stage 4 every time. Turns out, my first credit ended up with a 1cc with three lives in still in stock. I'm curious as to whether I can loop this game if I just play for survival alone.

I just suck at Ketsui. Let's leave it at that. As for looping, I'm just going to play on and off until I get it so... I'll loop when I loop.

Got the 1cc in Plus Alpha a couple months back. Posted my reaction video as I did it on my twitch stream in the youtube thread but it fits better here.
Played this game casually for a long time, really love it actually and had finally figured out the last boss.

Managed to get to Stage 6 in Garegga again. Lord knows it's been way too long since I was last able to do that. I should really try to clear this at some point.

So yeah, I'm pretty pleased as punch right now. I don't care if it was an "easy" route (I didn't really remember the layout so I was surprised and pleased that I ended up in the relatively tame zone X).

You're right - then again, I don't know my way around all the shmup terms. I thought no-miss and 1-all were synonymous.

I was actually surprised that there wasn't a second loop in Darius. But then again, the game's pretty long as it is.

It's a 1-ALL with a crappy score, but man I seem to have trouble with this game. Is it me or is Stage 5 harder than Stage 6?! Going to use B-L from now on I think. Glad to have finally cleared this; I remember this being the first Cave game I ever played when I'd just discovered Touhou and bullet hell shmups and I was all "how can you dodge bullets this fast, lame, back 2 2hus". god i was a retard then

and I forgot to record it, fml, oh well, I had an extra life to spare but the last boss was basically lolbombspam so it wasn't that great

Now if only I can get around to 1CCing Futari BL Maniac; it's actually not too tough, but I seem to have a penchant for ramming Hirow into a bullet with tons of bombs stocked in Stage 5 multiple times in the stupidest sections.

Very nicely done. I have yet to clear a single R-Type game. I think I just suck at them in general - at stage 4 in R-Type 1 I just seem to lose my groove. I never have gotten farther!

It'll be a cold day in hell when I can finish a Gradius game, for that matter. Then again, I've only played G III and G IV.

Thanks! This was my second R-Type clear after R-Type Leo. My plan is to clear the entire series (I've already cleared all Darius games except for G Darius). I've come close to clearing R-Type, and I think I could do R-Type Delta and R-Type Final too, but R-Type II probably not, that one's extremely difficult.

You shouldn't feel bad about not clearing Gradius III and IV, those two are the hardest in the series, and Gradius III is generally considered one of – if not the – toughest shooters ever made. Gradius (1) is actually very easy though and I think Gradius II, Gradius Gaiden and Gradius V are also very much beatable with practice.
