Zaxxon Escape on iOS & Android

Apparently this have been released from about 5 days ago for iOS and Android, here's the (sort of) review I found:

From what I see it has no resemblance with the original game or whatsoever, so yeah....

ugh. Yet another endless game on iOS that uses the name of classic game with almost no other relation. Other companies did the same thing with Pitfall and Circus atari. This new Zaxxon doesn't look like a shmup.

That's too bad. On the other hand: hey, 99 cents!

I wonder if it'd kill developers to throw in some more elements into these games. It's not Zaxxon unless there's something to shoot on a regular basis.
