^Aah the old Novotel show. Last time I was there I saw Jeff Minter
I guess it was sometime in the mid 90s.

Mushihimesama, Esprade, Progear and that's it now. R-Type Leo and Shikigami 1 and a Raiden Fighters for the sake of completion.

May have to give Casino a miss this time around Except for Thursday maybe. Spadgy can vouch that I was there on Saturday though! And my stick got snatched on that day too, sorry hzt and CHI.

My work hours just changed, so I can leave at 5.30pm. I could be there as early as 6.30pm from now.

And nice to meet you briefly on Saturday Shimatora (and good to see you last week msm!). And, yes, I can confirm Aliquantic and Sapz were in Casino on Saturday. I was just passing through town with an old mate, and happened to stop in Casino.

And you'll notice I got on the high score board for Taito Landing Gear. Now they've repaired it, I'm all over it.

Also, I let that hzt sleep in my slit on Sunday night. He can tell you, that despite fairly cluttered walls, I keep it pretty clean.

And, yes - I'll be down tonight. I'll try for 6.30pm. Hopefully Illyrian will be down there 2-ALLing everything again.

EDIT:

Lot's of fun tonight, and good to see CHI, hzt, Dan76, MXZ and Aliquantic. And, of course, play fantastic mega-shmup Raiden DX, with it's glorious 9-hour Alpha stages.

A quick question. Is anyone other than me and Dan interested in Espgalda being installed (we might keep Casino alive and breathing yet!). I need to complete my kit with the bloody game, and there's a couple for sale around.

I need to gauge interest and check the old bank balance.

Espgaluda was in STGT so I guess people will have either developed a taste for it or never want to see it again...

Personally I would definitely play it but there would be whining. I think you should complete your kit either way tho. It's fairly ridiculous.

I would be all over ESPGaluda now I can clear it. Even better: if you play in all-kakusei over mode the game becomes some ridiculous Psikyo homage. It's almost like having a completely different game mode.

Cool - sounds good. I have realised that there's been a modest price plummet on Espy in general as it seems a PCB retailer (Try) is selling them for £300 for minty full kits. Considering how much I've spent on the art and flyer pack, I need to be a little sensible, and I realise the one I'd seen might have been priced a little high.

Still, let me know if you see one for sale.

And MX7 - bring in some Magic: The Gathering cards if you;ve got some close to hand. I need to learn a little more about how it works!

I'll be down Thursday this week coming.

I'll be there Thursday folks. Also, I'm doing a leaving celebration/get together with a whole bunch of people (fingers crossed) on Friday evening in a similar location.

I've got to send out the Facebook notice for that first and then I'll share the details.

Of course! I haven't hired anything, it's just a get together. Please bring both of you and don't let me down.

Regarding Friday, I was hoping to sort something out that doesn't involve the Rising Sun and Wong Kei. Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative central London drinking establishment that's roomy and fun and an eatery where you can bring your own booze?

I'll be down this evening, and hopefully tomorrow as well for your get together Skykid!

Spadgy, ESP Galuda sounds good to me - I'd definitely play it more than Shiki/XII Stag anyway.

Mixing drinks on an empty stomach, downing £200 worth of champagne, sleeping on the bus and missing my stop at 4am.

Good times. Where's the I'm hungover thread.

Asahi, Tequila, Corona and Dom Perignon - in that order.

Classy motherfuckers.

Unfortunately the chances of me making it out tonight are unlikely, especially since there's a void where Darius Burst used to be. :(

I promised to help George do some filming tomorrow too, so I need to catch up on lost sleep tonight.

Picture update in the Drunk thread!

Spadgy, you liar! Raiden DX Training is actually exciting with lots of stages and looping and all juicy stuff that's not a 13-minute long prairie trip. Course summary from saucykobold.
