There were 0 votes for RFJ when I voted, THAT is an outright disgrace.

I didn't vote for it because I'm already neck-deep in RF1. Too similar for me right now.

Dangun is fine, but I'd rather play its caravan mode. Tough as hell so I'd have to drop out rather quickly, I'm afraid. As the immortal (okay, not really, he has a lifespan of approximately 40 seconds when I'm around) Johnny the Pimp put it: "If it's business, it's business. If it's us two hangin' out, then we hang out. Right now is business."

Dragon Blaze - BYOM Month (Bring Your Own Mixtape/Soundtrack because DB will probably start grating on you after a while...I'm sure I could tolerate it, but I wonder how.)

Same here. Never even heard of the DP/DDP series until after Dangun.
Not to mention that it's pretty much unlike every other Cave game, with its much faster and less dense patterns and lots and lots of aimed shots.

I think you will all find that Dangun Feveron is a great game while Armed Police Batrider is in fact easily and demonstrably the worst game ever made by allegedly thinking creatures and liking it is the exact same thing as being Hitler.

I'm kidding about the latter claim, in case you have absolutely no ability to sense irony or sarcasm.

Really though, I think most of the Dangun hate comes from the fact that its score mechanics can be annoying (what with the constant GONGGGGing if you ignore it and the fact that score does not actually serve a purpose as far as extends). It's one of the few games I actually like playing for score over survival though because it's not quite like any other game in that regard.

What don't you like about Dangun?

1. Requiring such ludicrously fast movement to score any points at all
2. Boring bosses that rely on bullet speed instead of interesting pattern design to kill you
3. (not specifically related to this contest as the cat is banned) NYANNYANNYANNYANNYAN!!!
4. Atrocious OST that fails to capture the real feel of either 70's disco music or 80's 2nd wave electronic disco
5. Dull enemy placement that doesn't require deep analysis of enemy spawn patterns to dictate your path as in Dodonpachi etc. as almost all enemy spawn sections can be defeated by just running from scary attacks with your insane movement speed

And I'm not just saying this after playing for 1 hour and throwing my toys out of the pram, I spend about 2 weeks consistently practicing this game and trying to clear it. Much like Radiant Silvergun, it's still shit even after you play it for a long time.

most of the game ends up being played at the top of the screen, also this point is contradicted by points 1 and 2, also this is one of the most common "criticisms" against dodonpachi to begin with

2 weeks can be the same as 1 hour, e.g. your 2 weeks is probably less than any possible 1 hour
