Registering on the neogeo-forums...

Post by Drachenherz »

... Is SUCH a pain in the ass, really... I *think* I'm doing it right, but either my account is deleted imediately, or I can't even complete the registering process...

First I used my gmx email, I got a message that my account doesn't fulfill "the standard requirements"...

Then I used another email, just in case ng has a problem with gmx emails... Haven't gotten even an reply on that...

Then I emailed them via the "contact"-page, to no avail...

I mean, come on, I understand if they want to make it hard for the spambots, but like this, it's just a huge PITA...

(The answer to the question is... "Wikipedia????" isn't it? Or is it "Wikipediafourquestionmarks"?)

Anybody help me getting on these boards?

Just stay here. Friendly is right - too much drama - You'll start to hate humanity if you become a regular poster over there. AO is another great place if you're not already a member.

Actually, I needed to message Tonk when I had a problem just posting up a sales thread... and that was after I'd already been a member for some years!

So it's not easy.

Oh just fuck it, I give up.

Well, I just wanted to register over there because I soon got an MVS in the mail, so neo-geo.com seemed a good place to get hooked up with further mvs-games.

Just watch out for scammers who pull $100,000 heists and murderers who stab 5 year olds over and over and over again...

otherwise it's a decent place

I'd love to, but the script is still buttraping me with the "most famous online encyclopedia question with four question marks at the end"...

:?

Edit: Oh well, f- it, going to bed now anyway. Have to get up early tomorrow morning to bring our offspring to the baby swimming lessons... :D

Edit2: And actually, come to think of it... A place like ng.com isn't the best place to be for a husband and father.

What was his NG username, do his posts still exist?

Member info page is here:

All posts are still there. Last post was Jan. 14, 2010. He was arrested in 2009. I suppose he was out on bail and coudn't stay away from NG.com  .

New video here:

http://a.abcnews.com/US/waseem-daker-mu ... GZLoBgb3zc

edit: looks like he was arrested in 2009 on a different charge (stalking) and while awaiting trial his DNA was discovered at the murder scene.

What the hell is that place?
Seriously that thread contains on one page more shitty posts than all of the shitty posts I've read in topics arguing over whether using autofire in Darius Gaiden is "cheating" or not.

Yeah, the Neo Geo forums are pretty awful. It's worth signing up for the trade forums only.
