Interview with G.Rev CEO Maruyama-san

Post by replayme »

Hi, I've been able to secure an interview with Mr Hiroyuki Maruyama (CEO of G.Rev) and will be sending over a set of questions to him in a few days... If anyone has anything that they would like me to ask him, please feel free to drop a question in the thread comment(s) below.

Pyongyang did this back in February, so be sure to read his interview so you don't ask the same questions!

Please ask him to bring Border Down HD to 360 and ask about sequels to Senko No Ronde , Border Down , and Under Defeat.

Also please ask him how well Strania has done on the NesicaXlive and if they have any further plans to support that system?

I would like to know if they're going to release original albums with their new record label (G.rev Game’s Gear) or just OSTs.

Please ask him how Under Defeat HD sold on PS3 compared to 360. If possible, ask for numbers, too (not sure he'll answer, though).

Ask if they're considering a US release for Kokuga.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Under Defeat HD is getting a western release. After that, one of the few games I still hook up my Dreamcast for is Border Down. Any chance of that getting a re-release on any modern platform? I'd hate to see it forgotten, it's a classic.

Ask if there's any new info he'd like to share about the Senko no Ronde spin-off Vita game, ask if they will eventually start working on Senko no Ronde 3, ask if they were satisfied with how they handled the 360 port of Senko no Ronde DUO and if they would have done anything differently, ask if any more Senko no Ronde character figures are going to be produced, ask if they ever considered making adjustments to Mamoru-kun's gameplay after the enemy milking was discovered or if it was a conscious design choice on the part of Gulti, ask if Doki Doki Idol Starseeker will eventually get ported to a console/handheld and if they're considering a sequel.

^Ditto.

Although, personally, Under Defeat didn't grab me too much. Maybe I should try it again and educate myself

Yes, I know. I guess I should have specified "HD" console port. :P
