Tototek Adapters? Shipping times?

Anybody dealt with Tototek?

I ordered a bunch of their controller adapters and it's been a WHILE now.

Tracking info says nothing beyond "Your package reached it's destination or departed Honh Kong on 4-Sept 2012"

I've found a few threads on other forums saying Tototek takes the piss when it comes to shipping accuracy.

I'm just trying to get a feel for whether I should start the arduous task of complaining....

I ordered some stuff from Rancor the same day and it arrived yesterday. I ordered a gang of PCE stuff from HIT-JAPAN the day before that and it arrived in like 6 days....so this Tototek business is definitely slow relative to the others (also Totek ships from HK....obviously not the same place as Japan )

Anybody have an experience with Tototek to speak of?

You can't compare shipping from Japan to shipping from HK. I'm talking one week versus 5+ weeks to europe (Germany in my case).

Something tells me it's gonna be longer than expected.


I just got items form an HK ebayer around 10 days after I paid....so for me in the USA it normally makes very little difference whether an item comes from HK \Japan \ Canada....

I know, sometimes HK shipments are fast, but usually they are not. That said, I've bought from Tototek several times in the past. No problems whatsoever (besides the long shipping times). I wouldn't worry about it - Tototek has been around forever...

I'll avoid freaking out until another week or so go by...

I haven't played on a pad regularly since I was a kid - I can't wait to play my Genesis and PC Engine consoles using my custom joysticks!

Unfortunately, the Genesis isn't supported on the Cthulhu boards, and I haven't gotten around to making a PCE cable....Tototek to the rescue. Looks like the PS2 controllers adapt to everything!

(And DAMMNIT! I just got an MD cart of Tatsujin in the mail today! That pad is gonna jack up my dainty hands :p)

All my orders from Tototek is really fast.

Orders from HK really depends at times... sometimes it takes only a few days.
sometimes weeks...

Be patient.

My experience with tototek has always been pretty good. I usually get my stuff in around a week or two (to USA)

I flubbed up ordering and got the cheapo shipping (the shipping that ceases to track, apparently, once the item leaves HK...)
