STGT Week 5: Super tar dShooter TECH HELP THRED (just 4 u)

I literally have been left unable to play this game the whole week. XM6 emulator runs slow on my laptop for some reason, and Win68K has massive input delay on left and right keys regardless if I use the keyboard or my joypad. I don't know who thought this was going to be a good idea to have in a STGT if getting it to work was such a big pain in the ass.
