Why can't I post this image in my sig?

Post by MmSadda »

It's less than 50 pixels high, but the site keeps saying it can't be added because images can only be 50 pixels tall... What gives?

Here, let me try.

That's odd... I'm not even on the Wishi Washi Shooting Team.

Weird. I tried changing my sig to use the image too and it gave the same message. For kicks I uploaded it to imageshack and tried it that way and it seems to work now. It's like it's the URL that's causing the error somehow, wtf?

http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg259/sc ... es=landing

and now it works with the url you posted

yep, I'm confused

Did you leave out the "http://" ?

i11.photobucket.com/albums/a169/collinfoust/wishi_logo-1.jpg might look strange to the forum software because it doesn't start with "http://" or "www"

Pretty sure I entered "http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a169/ ... logo-1.jpg" exactly.

I was just copying and pasting it as i11.photobucket.com/albums/a169/collinfoust/wishi_logo-1.jpg

Well, I can see why it wouldn't like "http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg259/sc ... es=landing". That's probably the reason.

I've used those imageshack links to post scores all the time, never had an issue.

Conclusion: It works on my machine, have you tried turning it off and on again? ;)

I think this thread is an elaborate ruse to get the Wishi Washi team logo posted as many times as possible.

Thank you! Apparently that's exactly what the problem was! I used the IMG link provided by Photobucket, and it didn't like that, but adding HTTP made it all better.

No problem. Chrome at least likes to be smart about automatically adding the http:// when you copy and paste links, maybe that's what confused Roo.
