Shots of Bombay Sapphire, neat. Kinda on the lookout for something a bit more sophisticated these days (Yamazaki 18-year whisky* sounds pretty awesome but is near impossible to find locally, and is kinda pricey besides), but it's the standby for now.

In this situation, I suggest a fat fucking omelet. I'm not big on ham as a standard ingredient in these, but the great thing is that you can throw almost anything edible in there and the worst that will happen is that it's kinda ugly and sloppy and fucking delicious because EGGS. And you only really need to be an expert to do it fast; if you don't care about blowing 15 minutes cooking it you can just turn the heat down a bit and be a little lazier about moving things around. Score. I should do this in the morning.
