Sega CDX dead CD Rom
I have a CDX has the CD function died on me, otherwise it works just fine with cartridge games. Any suggestion where/how to get it fixed? I have zero knowledge in this kind of stuff thus getting a pro to fix it may be the better option.

There's a lot of different components inside the drive unit that may or may not be faulty.
Can you be more specific about what the problem is? Does the disc spin? Does the laser lens move?
If I'm not wrong there should be lots of information out there on how to repair these units, and the drive itself is not especially unique so I think replacement parts can be easily sourced.
