Good job you picked the worst game and you're not even going to play it.

Um, what the fuck?

At least I don't have to restart 20 minutes into a run when I miss Ura requirements, but this is just a dick move. People looking forward to this because it's "easier" to score well in are in for a punch in the crotch. I don't even know what the hell you were thinking.

I'm just going to blame fucking casuals when I inevitably place poorly.

Now I'll actually have an excuse to try this game. But even I knew this was the best one.

Still expect to at least make it to the final boss by the end of the week.

Ketsui is going to lose. I did not see this coming. Everyone chickened out and went for the easy pick.

After dicking around a bit with both, Ketsui almost makes sense, scoring-wise, and isn't too brutal. Nice music.

Galuda's intro makes me want to punch many babies. Also the game looks bad and feels bad, man. Maybe I'll figure out scoring though.

Not close. I would go with "kids' revenge stories are cutting edge for 1989!"

I never understood why Tateha's laser seems to be ever so slightly stronger than Ageha's considering she's the stereotypical wide shot (and I suspect her boosted kakusei shot when pointblanking is as strong/stronger than Ageha's kakusei boosted laser).

Is there really any reason to play as Tateha other than a challenge or a change of pace?

She's probably easier to learn and, according to this, the current WR is held by a Tateha player, so she's obviously quite capable of scoring well.

The only remotely decent thing about this week is going to be the music. I knew this shit was going to happen as soon as I saw it in the running I just wanted to convince myself I was wrong.

There're some sound emulation issues on Espgaluda. Decent music you said?

Agh, forgot to post up our teams choice (which was Ketsui, not that it mattered judging by the vote count).

Well, time to get some Galuda on then I suppose.

Aside from the bomb meter glitching out rarely (seems to happen if you autobomb), seems to run fine in the latest version of Mame.

For a more exciting game you could've picked Ten Desires.

I think this calls for another break week with a lazy clear thrown in if I get bored.

Man I think this thread has convinced me that not participating in stgt was a good choice after all.
