Raiden DX.

A challenge of crossfire bullets and cat and mouse powerups. I like blue on stage 1, but before I know it I need the pink laser, and soon enough after that I need the red spread, if I don't get it i'm dead. Thats Raiden DX.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Raiden has a weird refresh rate; I find it amazing that it still displays correctly on your Sony TV.
My Sony Trinitron TV does support refresh rate as low as 43 Hz. Currently I'm running it through a GBS-3200 and Extron Super Emotia II, will be getting my Extron Emotia by mail soon. Hopefully I'll get myself a broadcaster TV.
You know what surprises me the most, it plays perfectly fine on my ASUS MS238H monitor. It only supports a refresh rate of 55 Hz to 75 Hz! 1 Hz below the detected range!

My broke ass feels weird being able to post in this thread.

Also got a Metal Slug MVS boot for 5 bucks that doesn't display score. That doesn't deserve a picture, though.

That's a cool Konami's GX powered Sexy Parodius PCB you've got there, drauch. A little bit of T&A to spice up the action certainly doesn't hurt. ^_~

You know, at the top where it says "FREE PLAY", to my tired eyes for a second it looked like it said "FREE PUSSY"

Hahaha. Yeah, my crap monitor distorts the very top for some reason. Too hot in the garage to try and fix it. Gonna have to wait until like 3 am to tackle that.

Nice get! Much better than regular 1943 IMHO.

I got this sweet game for free last night (I hosted a shmupmeet at home) as a get-well gift from a buddy:

Data East's "Darwin 4078". I've wanted this PCB for years, but it has always eluded me. Until now. 8)

In UK the Model 2 Sega cab was a complete beast of a thing. My mate had already sold the cab when I went to pick the board up though so it's been a good few years since I've seen one.

Cheers,

Ralph.

Why didn't I post this in the proper thread? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW

At any rate, I managed to get the audio switched to stereo (I want to punch the person that designed the test menu to require P2 button presses) and WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWO the audio on this game is soooo good. Even just on the crappy built-in speakers on the LCD I'm playing it on I noticed a huge improvement.

That sweet Namco produced Mr. Driller 2 sounds awesome on a stereo capable candy cab indeed. Even some of those old-school Konami arcade PCBs like A-Jax (circa 1987) and Gyruss (circa 1983) support stereo sound if so desired.

Having the original arcade paperworks to accompany said PCB is just extra icing on the cake indeed.

Warning, this will probably completely ruin the game for you, since it makes the game dramatically easier.

It's fine though if you like to just breeze through the game without too much trouble.

My first unemulated board: SD Gundam Sangokushi Rainbow Tairiku Senki with a copied manual and flyer.

A run'n gun with mini-Gundams. Pretty cool.
