Shmup parodies on anime series

I have mixed feeling every time i see something like that. Anime producers seems to think that shmups are all about flashy lights and shitload of bullets.

From "Kami no mizo Shiru Sekai". Dodonpachi whit a guy riding a horse, the big ship shots exactly the same bullet patterns as Dodonpachi's Last Boss. IKD must be proud.



From "Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai", the main character plays this 2hu wannabe.

There was some recent anime that used the Tatsujin/Truxton bomb sprite. Maybe someone else knows more. There was also an arcade-themed episode of NieA_7 where they play this fictional versus shmup.

I've found a Space Invaders parody on Digimon Frontier, but I don't have a pic.

There's a French-Italian live action film La Cena where a Japanese kid dining at the restaurant with his parents plays a shmup on his handheld (I think it was Neo Geo Pocket or GBC). The game could have been Magical Chase or Cotton. Anyway, a witch or wizard riding a broomstick was a motif related to one of the film's stories.
The actor who played the professor is also to be seen in the Italian-Argentinian film Una noche con Sabrina Love (yes, it is every bit as good as the title suggests and I recommend it highly).
As I already mentioned somewhere, one of Tenamonya Voyagers episode's staff roll is upon a yukkuri shmup footage (years before yukkuri became a thing of Touhou).

The world god only knows at 11:50 as you mentioned. I digged out the whole EP because it is pretty hilarious and the bad singing at the ending really got me. There are various game sytem references throughout the EP.
