Huh I always thought she was from Panty and Stocking. Though I've never seen it so I don't know why, but I guess it's a similar style. Kind of.

It was the only picture of her I could find at a low enough resolution. The actual art style for the manga is fairly old school if I do say so myself.

I feel the same way, however I've recently considered re-branding myself. I've been using this avatar on various forums since '06, and it just doesn't feel like "me" anymore.

It's a decision that weighs disproportionately heavy on my mind when compared to my relatively small presence in this community.

Great necro-bump on a topic, it's cool to read what and why from people.
Mine is Ringo from Air Gear. Great character, I'm a sucker for the independent, yet strong and supportive women. And, I really like that surprised, almost flinching framing. The couple of times I've used a different avatar here the framing was very similair.
..I do have to admit that it isn't masculine in any way. But, she's a cutie, and I like the pic.
