Scart to hdmi upscaler convertor - 50/60Hz PAL megadrive?

Post by Amon_RA »

I own a modded 60Hz PAL Sega Megadrive model 1 which I connect via a RGB to Scard cable to my Sony Bravia KDL-46W4500 TV.
(Un)fortunately my Sony Bravia automatically adjusts the horizontal shift a little bit too far so a tiny part (+-10%) of the image is lost.
There doesn't seem to be a way to manually adjust the horizontal shift on the Bravia KDL-46W500 so I think the best option would be to buy a scart to hdmi upscaler which might adjust the image so it's fully visible.

Which scart to hdmi upscaler convertor is capable of dealing with the 60Hz so I wont have a black and white image?
I would like to make sure I buy one that actually does the job ;-)

Any help would be appreciated

You're also in my experience much better off with a true NTSC MD than a PAL converted one, since the PAL60 timings are so far off spec.
