Xbox 360 Going 2D crazy in Japan,Treasure,Cave,Alfa System

Now that I've owned a few imports, I don't think it's such a big deal whether or not certain games get a stateside release. Really, one or two new import games every few months isn't going to kill me. (It's the backlog of games I've missed that does :p)

Count me on board for the 360.

Same here; I guess I'm just not into vs. shmups, other then Change Air Blade, and Twinkle Star Sprites. I'm personally more excited about the new Sonic and After Burner games due out on the 360.

And as far as importing goes, most of my money has gone into my Core Grafx, not into any next-gen system-except for the DC. (Nothing wrong with the Saturn, but mine is rapidly collecting dust.)

It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Microsoft is claiming to have a 720p minum for releasing games for the 360 (1280x720 16:9). Maybe there will be an exemption for Japan or something though. I'd love to see some shooters on the Xbox 360, I have Shikigami No Shiro and Psyvariar 2 for my Xbox as well as Guilty Gear Isuka. All of them look fairly poor on my HDTV but they are still fun and I do play them on a Standard Definition screen when I get the chance. I love that Japan is still into these classic genre's still so they continue to be created (even if you often do have to import them).
