Since there are way too many of these topics...

I'm getting sick of this western "faux retro" pixelart style. I want a game that actually looks like an old game, not some cheap imitation.

This here, is the truth for all to behold. That was the first thing I thought after seeing those screenshots. It's not ugly, but if you're going to go the whole hog and have rotation and scaling, make it look nice, like a Saturn-era game, or some of Taito's F3 board stuff.

Also, I'd be a bit more interested if this was on Android, I lack an iDevice...

The ship doesn't really stand out enough against the mess of stuff that's going on, and pixel-artwork games don't really look all that good unless you're using a uniform pixel size (why the heck does it use small pixel blocks to draw some of the stuff then these whacky huge unshaded pixel blocks for that explosion-ring thing?).

Bought it anyway. It has lots of Compile influence.

The enemy debris layer obstructs bullets and the game crashes in between stages. I haven't had a credit end without crashing.

For $1, I'm not salty.
