Figured some people would find this interesting.

The original auction thread and the after auction thread. In a nutshell, it seems that the 20 second or so playable demo (built on the Nights engine) will go to the hands of a private collector for the sum of $2500.

What an asshole that false top bidder must've been. Not worth it whatsoever though for a short 3D demo IMO.

Yeah. I don't think the $3000 bidder really did anything in the long run. The AFAIK, The closest bid under $2500 was maybe $2000. I know one other person bid $1500 for Sonic and the boot disc.

Has anybody found a development copy of the Supergrafx Strider yet? I remember months ago, Assembler was selling a development copy of Robotech: Crystal Dreams that racked up quite a bit of cash.

Nah, and most likely won't. I'm won of those pricks that sticks to his story that it never got past the development stages. In fact, the only place I've ever read that it was even considered for the SGX was on one (out of 4 or 5) list of unreleased games.
