Help me ID this Windows JP shmup

Post by Specineff »

This is a longshot, and decided to post it here since it's more of a help request. Saw a video of the music on Youtube some months ago, but can't remember it for the life of me.

The game is relatively recent. (not older than 10 years)
For the Windows Platform.
Don't think it's Doujin.
The music sounds very close to the Yamaha synths of the 90's, or the Genesis, on purpose.
I think the cover had ships in deep blue.

Thanks, and sorry for the scarce info.

Scarce info indeed. Can you explain what the "cover" is? Do you remember anything of the shots, enemies, scenery, etc.? If you have seen only a Youtube video, how can you be sure that it is a Windows game and that the music in the video is the original one?

I looked at the name of the game on Wikipedia, and that's how I saw the cover, and found out it's for Windows. The music on the video showed the name of the game, too. But I forgot to add it to my favorites.

Oh, well. Thanks anyway.

EDIT: Found it. It's Eschatos for the 360, and here's the track in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNvMT4WjaOo&feature=plcp

I thought it was Windows because I couldn't find it listed anywhere on the 360 game catalog.
