Lol, that's even better! I, like Friendly, misunderstood the direction of the comment. However, now I know you and I are on the same page, I apologise for suggesting you were misunderstanding my competitive sentiment, and applaud you for inadvertently making Friendly look like even more of a twat for his piggybacking. I tip my hat, sir.Randorama wrote:Erhm, I meant:
I hate when coaches don't field the strongest possible team, it's unrespecteful to the other team. That's a godwaful attitude, for me.
More on topic: Joachim Low's decision to run with a lesser team only smacked of arrogance if you're approaching it with a skewed view. In reality you can't fault the guy, he knew exactly what he needed for a 4 goal victory and got it while saving his player's legs for the semi. Dat German efficiency.
I'm torn on this one. I nearly always root for the underdogs but I find the French to be pretty boring, whereas I find Spain to be scintillating. Beer and pizza sounds like a winner though, I think I'll go for some of that.Tomorrow we have Spain-France. I have no idea, but I'll go eat, grab pizza and beer and root for France as they're supposed to be the underdogs, I think.
