Jugemscloud, I'm not sure if Casino has an exact closing time, but I've been there after 10 PM several times and it was still open.
Do come down tonight if you can make it, you can help us debate which of spadgy's G-NET games to install!

This place sounds great. How much do the machines cost to play?

If I can afford it one day!

I had a dabble with Shikigami Shiro last night. Good fun so far!

And do join us some day! Tuesday evenings and Thursday evenings. We can't quite make up our minds which is the regular slot!

Typically three credits for a pound on the shmups. And the exquisite company and highbrow socialising is free!

Do join us sometime!

Finally, good to see those of you there on Thursday. I can't stop thinking about Leo (and Prehistoric Isle 2!).

Oh - and The Welsh Engineer has a spare NeoGeo MVS mobo, so I can just bring along my PI2 cart next week.

i ended up there just after 9 but no one was around so had a quick couple of drunken credits on donpachi and left. going back up to glasgow tomorrow so unfortuneately wont be around this week, i tore open my hand on friday night as well so wont be gaming for the next month at least, and missed an ibara pcb as well due to being in hospital :x  But the next time in down ill make sure i get down and hook up with people. i was quite getting into muchi and mushi when i played a few credits on them so would be good to see some good runs and learn the scoring systems on them.

Any of you Casino boys want a copy of Mushi HD on 360 for £40 before I stick it on eGay? No DLC, but it's minty new.

I'd take that mate - I want the LE but I can't afford it! PM comin' at ya!

EDIT: Now that's done, I'm still on for tomorrow...

And I've put Prehistoric Isle in my bag.

And having played around with the GNET a lot, I think Shikigami no Shiro is the one to put in the arcade:

• Great distinct scoring mechnics with plenty to master
• Not silly hard, but plenty of scope for skilled play
• No stick abuse!
• No need for rage-quitting restarts if you loose lives, as that doesn't impact score too much, so good for arcade play
• Every character demands a totally different play style, so something for everyone
• A fairly empty scoreboard here on the forum, so room for all of us
• It's bloody good!

We should have a prehistoric isle 2 mini tournament to warm up for STGT12. Had a quick look at a video of it on YouTube and it has 'acquired taste' written all over it. I laughed pretty hard at the attract animation of the strobing t-rex, so that should be fun to watch over and over when I'm not playing anything.

Is it going in the Progear cab then?

How bad is Casino exactly in the summer? Compared to the rest of the year where short sleeves are already mandatory, is it possible to go down and survive for an hour or two?

It doesn't get too much hotter than you've seen it actually, even when it's really hot outside... does smell worse though.

I don't think there's anything that wasn't there at the meet...

Prehistoric Isle 2 isn't installed because according to the engineer "that board is shit". (Has anyone told spadgy yet?)
Shiki isn't installed because I don't know (haven't been down much recently).
