Assist me in buying a thing: Anyone from Tennesee?

Post by KennyMan666 »

Okay, it's like this.

I want to get myself one of these things. However, they are not purchaseable on their own. Because it's actually a central unit, the d-pad and buttons used for navigating in menus, for a Mad Catz Rock Band Portable Drum Kit. I don't give a shit about the drums, I'm just looking to get an X360 gamepad with a d-pad that doesn't suck. (I think it was on this forum I heard about it existing in the first place, actually...)

Buying the entire drum kit for the controller didn't really feel like an option, but I looked around, and I actually found it for as cheap as $20. I'd definitely pay $20 for that controller.

But, of course, shipping for the whole drum kit to Sweden would be... expensive. And when I say expensive, I mean $161 as the cheapest option.

But.

The internet shop I found it at has "Store pickup" as a shipping option. For some reason, that costs $2, but whatever.

And so, the shop is situated in Ocoee, Tennesee. Which apparently is in the southeastern corner of Tennesee, meaning that it's also close to western North Carolina or northern Georgia. Thus, what I'm looking for is someone whom I could Paypal money so they could buy and pick it up at the store for me, and then just grab the small controller out of the package and ship that off to me here in Sweden - that small thing can't cost a lot to ship, even to Sweden.

(I also actually found a backup plan that just requires an American, but that would cost me $7 more in the end so I figured I'd check if there's any TN residents that would be willing to assist me first...)
My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself
<Despatche> you've been a thorn in the shmups community since the beginning, you're largely responsible for the horrible face of modern speedrunning
