Component video over SCART question

Will that let me route component video and stereo audio down the same SCART cable?

Yes I know, component is not RGB, I want to send component and audio down the same cable, my DVDO can handle both on the same inputs.

Seems to make sense that it would work, just not 100% sure.

Yes, that should work. I'm using that adapter to get audio out and it doesn't change the R,G,B lines even if you set the switch to "in". There are also adapters which do both in one.

I found an eBay Auction (shipping costs to UK are way too high on this auction though).
There are some reviews of this adapter that state that the YUV input doesn't work, but maybe they tried it on a TV which doesn't accept YPrPb on Scart.
