Help, I hit the wrong button in MAME.

I somehow got rid of my file menu bar.

I originally could not get the main MAME window to display at all but then I hit F11 which brought back everything but the file menu bar. I have continiued hitting random keys but I guess you only get lucky once doing that (this isn't Street Fighter).

I know I sound dumb as hell but I did look through the help menu before I made a thread. I also know this isn't a MAME forum but I'm trying to avoid making an account on one just to ask a dumb question.

Anyone who can tell me how to get it back wins a free snowcone which will be melted by the time you get it. Sorry.

Edit: I guess I forgot to mention I'm using MameUI. Derp.

The views are controlled by ALT+letter. I can't get the menu to disappear on my copy, but try just hitting a bunch of keys with alt held down. You might have some luck deleting .cfg files too. If all else fails, just do a fresh install. I had a similar problem awhile ago and that was enough.

Just redownload mame and put it on another folder then repath your Rom folders or just delete the .cfg files
