I think all of us have given up hope on that being a thing.

No new F-Zero is a good thing since there`s no way it could ever match the sheer brilliance of F-Zero GX.

Probably true, GX is easily the best racer I've played, ever.
I can't see them topping that.

Gravity Rush? What about Dragon's Crown? If you didn't see that one either, then you need glasses.

Appalling show by Nintendo. Wii U is a disaster.

Friendly: Dragon's Crown is a PS3 title too and will be best played on that. Very few people will play it at all, and fewer still will be stupid enough to bother with the Vita version. You are just being insulting here.

Why would Dragon's Crown be inferior on Vita (for reasons other than you disliking handhelds)?

Worse graphics, no local co-op, no doubt sub-par titty physics.

Only two interesting games as far as I'm concerned (South Park and Watch Dogs), which is a new low for E3 for me. That wouldn't be so bad if two of press conference holders weren't trying to sell new hardware. How are they going to do that without any new games?

Is it Wayforward? At least they proved they can handle a competent regurgitation of older Konami games with Contra "hey guys remember Contra?! The 80s, LOL!" IV. Might be fun for what it is if so.

By the people who did LoS for PS360. It's 2.5D too, and not especially good 2.5D, even considering 3DS's tech limitations.
Wayforward are working on the Adventure Time game, which I am pretty jazzed about.

E3 has been completely awful for at least 4 years now. I'm more surprised that some people can find a way to be disappointed by it.

At least we got a trailer for Kamiya's next game.

Pinball machines would probably be announced either at the Pinball Expo in October or at AMOA's show, assuming they still have one of those.

Only new game that wowed me was Platinum's Project P-100. Looks like Bayonetta mashed up with Pikmin. Too bad it's on Wii U.

Yeah P-100 looks amazing. Might have to buy a Wii U if platinum ends up developing multiple games for it :o

I liked Beyond: Two Souls by Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain) and The Last of Us. And there's a new God of War.

Graphics of Wii U look the same as PS360, don't they? So Nintendo will once again be one generation behind next gen?

Furthermore, Nintendo's conference was unexpectedly awful. They had almost nothing to show for Wii U (old 3rd party ports, who cares?).

Actually worse. The specular on the models looks very weak and everything soft around the edges.

To elaborate, first impression is that Wii U is getting even less third party support than Wii. They had nothing to show by Konami, Sega, Crapcom, Bandai-Scamco...

Also, Nintendo had several years to create some awesome first party stuff for Wii U. Where are the games? Nintendo's software output frequency has been awful in recent years. What the heck is their problem? How about hiring a few more programmers?

I agree. When you walk up to the Nintendo booth the focal point is the latest Just Dance. I feel its just been a below mediocre showing overall, not just for Nintendo. At least the food trucks out front were good!

I wouldn`t worry about that. Nintendo knows how to court third-parties and lock down games that are actually relevant. They seem to be willing to pay up unlike Sony. They already made Sony almost completely irrelevant in Japan by securing Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter franchises exclusively for their systems. We already know that Dragon Quest X is coming to Wii U. No doubt there`s gonna be more.
Also, Nintendo had several years to create some awesome first party stuff for Wii U. Where are the games? Nintendo's software output frequency has been awful in recent years. What the heck is their problem? How about hiring a few more programmers?
Nintendo provided the Gamecube and the Wii with tons of great games. They are now working on 3DS stuff. Their Wii U games will arrive in due time. Again, it`s Sony we should be worrying about. Their Japanese output is completely anemic. Their Japanese studio is horribly underfunded and mismanaged. I read that it took almost the entirety of their Japanese division to produce a niche title like Gravity Rush. Gran Turismo 5 took god knows how many years to come out and it still felt unfinished. And The Last Guardian... yeah.
