£112,- from the fleabay , nobody was interested at first and as usual it ended in a flaming sniper war in the last 10 seconds .

I'm just glad I found one though , in the rare chance one is on sale here it's gone in a second .

I must be missing something, but I really cant get into that one.. I've played the PCB at HEY! several times and own the PS/MMP set for X360, and it just does nothing for me... But I love the music!

I didn't like Pork until CHI came out here and taught me how to properly play it. It's good, but it's not in my top 10 or anything. I do like the radical departure that CAVE took with that game in the design department. I do wish they would take some more risks like that.

yeah - it is the old version, but I've never played the new version so I don't know what I'm missing... And don't tell me!!

It's like how I feel with Ibara... I love it, but I wish I had Ibara Kuro....

Yeah, that SP1 game of Viper Phase 1 is cool in my book. Shelled a mere $20.00 for a barebones VP1 U.S.A. cartridge many moons ago. It was regarded as an instant arcade shmup classic at my local arcades, The Electric Underground arcade and later, under the re-named "Nickle Play" arcade back in 1995 to 1998. There hasn't been an indy arcade hangout in the Modesto, CA area since then (when Nickel Play closed it's doors for good in May of 1998). It was priced at four nickels per credit...quite a hard bargin for the buck back in those days of arcade shmupping.

And yes, VP1 U.S.A. is the same as it's Japanese VP1 New Version counterpart indeed.

I've always liked TAD's Blood Bros. PCB when it was playable at my local arcade back in the early 1990s (it certainly controls well with an 8-way digital joystick scheme compared to the original trackball scheme with TAD's earlier PCB release of Cabal).
