I am tempted to pick up a Street Fighter TE stick for the 360, but I want to use it for emulation on my Macbook. Given it's a USB controller, will there be any complications because it's Xbox?
Also what do you think about the price of $80 for a near-mint stick (supposedly almost never used) in box? Haven't been keeping track of the price development for the past 2 years. Back in 2009 these went for 120.

Xbox controllers aren't standard USB HID devices, they do require specific drivers to support them. So you'll want to check if there are drivers for Mac OS.
$80 is a pretty good price for a near-mint TE model -- they are significantly better than the original SFIV sticks.

You definitely want the Tattiebogle driver, but not necessarily the latest version. I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about using the 0.08 version as there's a plist available that supports many more sticks/pads than what's included.
Edit - apparently the newest version can update itself to support more controllers. Not tried it myself, but I'll have a go later with the VX SA as that never did work before.

I haven't pulled the trigger on getting a stick for this very reason. Don't wanna spend over 100 on a stick that won't let me play MAME too. If it works, post how you got it to work here so I can go buy one.
