I don't want to "pre-order" it as such because I don't know if amazon take the money immediately and I don't want to potentially have to cancel a pre-order for a game that is never coming out. Finally getting to play these games after all this struggle will be a overwhelming experience I'm sure. The sound got *mostly* fixed on MAME and in addition to that it seems you can do input replays of them in standard MAME without having to reset the NVRAM (and therefore get stuck at the countdown) but I can't say how reliable that is for desyncs. RF2 seemed fine.

I'd prefer getting the 360 release anyday of course but in the meantime I'm having fun with it on MAME till then.

Two days to go and that date on amazon.de is still there. Is this actually coming out? I guess I just assumed that all their output had been stopped since there were administration problems but maybe not.

I'd appreciate it if anyone who has this on pre-order would let us know when/if they get shipping notice for their order.

I think on thursday we will know more,in most of cases they(amazon) shipped one day earlier.
I check every day their site and my emails,in hope they cancel RFA not anymore...

Why not buy the US version and USA Xbox 360. I have seen the US version at Sears for $6 dollars. I am sure you can get a USA 360 for around $120 shipped. Cheaper then buying a Japanese 360 for $300 and the game itself for $100.

dtp updated their Facebook a few hours ago with a "definitive release date" (June 22) for one of their PC titles, so they're still doing some business.

We'll see if that sticks, but it's a shame that they can't be so definitive about Raiden's release date seeing as it was meant to be out months ago.

I don't think we'll ever see it from this publisher. There'd be no reason for it to be slipping back on a monthly cycle if there was any intention to release it. The date slipping back one month at a time basically tells you they have no release plan for it. It's not like they are targeting specific and credible dates and simply failing to hit them (although there'd be no reason for that either) but more that the retailers still have it on their books but are simply getting no word from the publisher about any supposed plans.

We should all go in and order a thousand copies. In my experience working with Amazon, DTP will receive notification of all these pre-orders.

I just received email from amazon.de stating that they have no idea when this item may be available. They will still hold on to the pre-orders, they just dont know when its out.

I think its time to forget this and just move on..

Just downloaded this through XBLA. I'm liking Operation Helldive and Fighters Jet WAY more than Raiden IV. Probs gonna transfer my efforts to Helldive for the time being.
