Soukyugurentai - extra menu?

I was playing Souky for a while and I noticed that after a while, a special menu unlocks. So far I have 3 options unlocked. I know one of them lets you listen to music from Kingdom Grandprix, Battle Garegga, and Mahou Daisakusen and another lets you change the controls (you can even set lock and fire to one button...why you'd want to is beyond me), but the other is a mystery to me. Do they unlock based on play time?

You do know that these are all digital audio tracks, right?

I can't remember how you unlock them though, whether it's through playtime or completions. They were all unlocked for me after a couple of playthroughs, so it shouldn't take long.

Pretty sure they are time locked.

... so I plugged in my Saturn and the battery just died.
