Tate hosi ps2
Tate hosi ps2
Im wondering if this is supposed to be used on widescreen tvs? I probably spelt it wrong but both espgaluda and DOJ on ps2 have this mode. Mushi does not so I was wondering if anyone plays this in tate widescreen? Ive tried and its nice to have such a big picture but because of the ratio you move faster left and right than up and down.
DOJ is probably the clearest example of why this is necessary. If you play the game in tate on a normal tv, the screen won't be totally centered, thus cutting off either the top or bottom of the screen depending on which way you have it rotated. The hosei mode is a scaled mode that makes the screen fit more perfectly on an average tv set. It's going to look a little worse since it's scaled. Mushi doesn't have this because it's already scaled... much to the dismay of many a shmup videophile.
FULL LOCK is BOMB
Ok so just to be safe : if my TATE'd screen can show both the score and the bombs in stock, everything fits, right ? This is with just tate, not hosi, so I'm not getting funky stretching affecting the horizontal/vertical speed ratio, right ?
*confusing*
Although the ratio might explain why I can't dodge for shit.
