I know that the PSP Go has built-in compatibility with wireless PS3 controllers, but I've heard that syncing them is possible on earlier models by routing the signal through a PS3. I have a PSP-3000.
I've scanned over the main menus for both systems and I haven't found any sort of option to enable this. Is it doable?
PSP/Dualshock 3 sync?
Re: PSP/Dualshock 3 sync?
No, the PSP Go has bluetooth, the PSP 3000 does not.
You can however connect your PSP to your PC via USB, and use homebrew PSP software "RemoteJoyLite" to use any controller you want.
Edit: What you're thinking of is probably Resistance Retribution's system. It only works for that game.

Seems that RemoteJoyLite only works with custom firmware, which I don't have. Guess I'm crap out of luck.

Get someone with basic computer skills to help you, setting it up isn't that complicated.

Oh, I certainly could do it, it's just that I'm pretty certain you can't get past DNAS to log on to PSN afterwards. I think it also creates compatibility problems with certain newer games that require recent official firmware updates.
