When I worked at a bike shop in the South Loop of Chicago, there was a fancy as hell liquor store around the corner and I use to do work for bottles of good single malt. Got turned onto a lot of good stuff: Ardbeg, Bowmore, Laphroig, Balvenie (Double Cask), Oban, etc. Laphroig was the first Islay I tasted and it was love at first sip. From the sound of it, GP's on the single malt wagon!
