Quick Giga Wing 2 (JP DC) Question

Just picked up GW1 and 2 off ebay, both import Dreamcast versions, and I was wondering if an option exists in 2 to turn off the announcer's voice - the one who says each mode name, and yells "REFLECTA...FOOOOOOOOORCEA!" at you. I can deal with it if necessary, but I'd rather not if possible.

I believe that there's an option somewhere to turn the voices off, but it's been awhile since I tried the import version (the US version doesn't have the voices at all).

Import was cheaper on eBay (latest US version was $60USD, import $40somethingUSD), and since cost is more important to me than getting yelled at while I play, I chose the import.
