bubble bobble 2 unsealed

this one comes with the cellophane, but it's been opened. i wonder what the plastic would sell for by itself? and how do we know he isn't pulling a fast one? that plastic could be off of some common game for all we know.

I must have woke up in an alternate dimension.

I stumbled on THIS on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bubble-Bobble-P ... 432wt_1396

$20,000 USD

Sealed Bubble Bobble 2 US for the NES.

I.Do.Not.Understand.

I know there is a *small* niche of sealed game collectors, but REALLY!?
Well nobody actually bought the game, so I doubt this is really what it is worth.

That's not the outside box cellophane, it's the cartridge bag that comes from inside the box.

The same guy is selling a sealed Mass Effect for....get this....seriously....ready?
$699USD

(I get that there are collectors out there....but I must be missing something.)
You're missing that Rarebucky is essentially the driving force behind manufacturing the spiralling values of sealed games. He's a 'chancer', throwing things out for ludicrous money with the expectation that if it doesn't sell, it will encourage others to at least try to compete with the prices to earn megabucks.

He also clearly reseals loads of shit, since his supply of VGA graded sealed games is seemingly endless.

In short, someone should go round his house and stick a shotgun in the cocksucker's mouth.

cool. I met someone in a bar in Cupertino who claimed to also have such a thing, with signatures on it. I wonder if she meant inside like that. Said she was a secretary for them back in the day.

He's a member: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?t=20447
He wanted to buy some sealed PS1 games off me a long time ago. Ironically, he was trying to get me to drop my exorbitant $30 price tag.

I went through the git's feedback. Plenty of $2000 dollar sales everywhere. and plenty of triple digits like it's nothing. Insane.

Paid off that shrinkwrapping machine ages ago eh?

Seriously though, these people are such idiots they deserve to be robbed. Resealing these types of game is a breeze:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/120883957183#ht_4403wt_1167

http://www.ebay.com/itm/150767483911#ht_4259wt_1167

I don't know who should be held more to account for the deception though: the resealer or the VGA group that approves them. Corruption runs deep.

Fyi, all 128K Macs have signatures hidden in the case moulding where you can't see them, like that. Your dog's uncle would have them if he had a Mac.

Really? I was under the impression that "H" seamed shrinkwrap (as opposed to just sealed on two ends) was something proprietary to Nintendo?

I could be barking up the wrong tree, but surely there are more difficult things to forge than that!

Metal Slug 1 AES?

Sometimes I'm not sure what to think of the VGA outfit, but I will say I have confidence in their grading. The fact that I've never seen anything graded above 90 means alot. It means they have a firm understanding of actual mint condition and that almost nothing out there meets that criteria. Contrast that with most ebay sellers that think just because something is new/sealed it is "TEH MINTZORZZZZZ!!!"

Gather 'round my friends, and feast your eyes on the super-rare, super valuable Aero Fighters 2 for the MVS!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... NA:US:1123

Seriously, that's at least 3 times more than the cart is actually worth :?

Stabbed with a smile?

But I would say that this is just as likely a marketing gimmick as much as anything else - although, to be fair, coin collecting has its grades to keep collectors coming back for better coins (and heck, haven't I said many times that I am trying to find a good copy of Sparkster / Super Aleste / some GG and GB games?)

Hmm, not sure if I buy it tbh. Since it's set up by the same guys who run Sealed Game Heaven I just assume they're trying to reenforce the escalating values of their own retarded hobby. I'm sure you own a game that you consider to be 100% mint right? Why wouldn't that be a perfect 100 on the grading?

I'd have to go through all of them :D A lot of the stuff that leaves the factory is not even mint. Small dings and such. Chances of something leaving the factory mint, being handled by a distributor/store, sold/shipped to me and still being mint is insanely slim. I think I have a mint Rockman 5, and that's about it :?

I got a factory mint Umihara Kuwase from banjoted the other day, verified by some of the other members here. I don't need a self-appointed entirely for-profit grading authority to tell me it's in good shape. I fear the day that you can't sell something as mint without having their approval: that would be one of the worst things to happen to aftermarket collecting.

Hahaha! I was the first person to bid on that bullshit. I opened it up the other day and froze in awe. This seems to happen a lot for MVS games on Ebay...

Sharkoon Silent Eagle PC case fan... $138.

That must be a decimal mark error, another seller has it for less than a tenth that much.
