If I eat one-such food, it'll make my hands, legs, and feet swell up-and it's all THANKS to my SLUGGISH *bleep*in' lymphatic system. Eat too much sodium rich food and my body will reject it by getting stomach-sick and forcing me to vomit it back up in the middle of the night
Oh, and the best part?? THEY'RE FRICKIN' EVERYWHERE!!!
Perhaps it belongs in the shmup grievance thread, but I hate that all the Cave ports refuse to save your score when you restart on the first stage. Its an oversight they seem to make in every port.

I know! it's super annoying. Like on Futari. You can only do quick restarts on Arcade mode, but you can't save your replay. If you play on score attack you can save your replay but you have exit out to the title menu to restart.

There are a few that are retractable into a round, plastic thingy. They never get tangled

Yes. A thousand times yes.
Did that name even come from anywhere from Capcom or is it just some dumb nickname some dude came up with that everyone decided to use for some reason?

All I'll say is that being both Canadian and a Mega Man fan causes me to have a regular chuckle at the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

tbh i'm not a fan of the localization in general. what i would rather have is to keep most jp names BUT to change the series name to "Mega Man" everywhere; it's now a concept and refers to no particular character. archie seems to like jp names, and inafune/capcom seemed to like "Mega Man" (universe) and concept (zxa), so if anyone over there wanted a reboot (and capcom may even "have" to), this would be really nice and really appropriate
I'm also annoyed by Protoman. Such a crap name compared to Blues. Though I do beleive the world outside Japan got the best names for Bass and Treble. Forte and Gospel, don't fit together as a pair at all.

Assholes who massive over price used games. Was at a swapmeet hosted by Maxlords today and found a guy tying to sell a complete Chrono Trigger for $230. It's worth about $100.

The market has legitimately driven up the value of certain games though. $80-$100 for complete SNES Chrono Trigger is fair IMO (and actually not far from what it cost new from what I remember).
But yeah, it bugs the fuck out of me when I see that shit.
And somewhat in the same vein, I hate it when clueless people price up their stupid shit. Big example is when someone in my area lists some delapidated Ms. Pac-Man cabinet for like $2000. I'm just like, "You REALLY expect this shit to sell for that price?"

Once saw an Ebay auction for the "Super Rare NES Combo Cart: Mario/Duck Hunt". Starting bid was set at $100. Don't know if the guy was actually insane or just assumed all old stuff is valuable.

Journalist blatantly skewing numbers in favour of thier bias. Case in point I've been arguing with several journalists today over the number's they're presenting about Microsoft's Xbox 360 subscription.
The Deal offered by MS:
- Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle for $99
- Two year contract for live at $14.99 a monthly
Total Cost: ~$459
Media Comapares it to:
- Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle at $299
- Two 1-year Live subscription cards at $59.99 a piece
Total Cost: ~$419
What they should compare it to (i.e. the actual comparative package)
- Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle at $299
- Two years of Xbox live at the regular monthly rate ($8.99/mo)
Total Cost: ~$515
You're looking at a $30 difference in best case, plus that's an upfront cost, instead of a smaller monthly fee. This is a good thing and it's less than the normal equivalent package. But that's not how it's reported.

I have a balance, put through a $10 transaction, and it is being processed as an Echeck, even though I have a balance to cover it.
I email them with the issue; their response is they take from the available balance before they go to Echeck from my bank account. But there is a balance and they are still processing as an Echeck!!??
All E-Checks and frozen payments from suspended accounts go into a big pot that makes millions of dollars in interest and is even used to buy stocks and shares to make more interest.
All this while they maintain they are not a 'bank'.

So after 3 emails back and forth, they finally answered my question. They have an absurd policy that subscriptions must be paid by credit card or bank account, regardless of paypal balance. So the money I have tied up in their system is no good to pay for something payed for through their system, and they have to take more of my money out of my bank account, charge me their ridiculous conversion rates and make me and the vendor wait 7-10 days for the payment to clear, even though I can check my bank account tomorrow and they will have already taken the money out of my account.
